Lake Como Design Fair 2019 / photoreportage

After the success of its first edition, Lake Como Design Fair returned on September 20 to 22, 2019.

The annual event consolidated its original format – free from the constraints of divisions by stands, a fair much more like an exhibition, where all that is on show is for sale. This year the focus was on a typical Segis theme: colour.

Trono designed by Sottsass Associati was one of the 120 carefully selected design objects that punctuated the Ridotto’s room of the Teatro Sociale di Como, creating a polychrome and playful environment. From industrial design to unique artifacts, new projects made specifically for the fair, projects already known, contaminations and examples of emerging production were visible at the fair.
